Katie joined our team in 2017 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. After spending about nine years in the Condominium and HOA Management world, she was excited to learn more about the multifamily industry and eager to help find people the job opportunity they may or may not have been looking for. When she is not working, Katie loves spending time with her family and friends, finding new recipes to try out and cook, and if it’s summer, she is definitely on the beach.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Friendly, Respectful, Honest
It’s a typical Saturday afternoon at 2pm, what are you doing?
It really depends. During the summer you can find me on the beach with my family and friends. Otherwise, I am running errands, attending family and friends birthday parties, weddings, graduations, activities, etc.
Where is the best place you have traveled and why?
Definitely Aruba! It was the best place because I went for my honeymoon with my husband!
What characteristic to you most admire in others?
Selflessness.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Meteorologist.
What is the last gift you gave someone?
Toys and rain boots for my 3 year old niece. Little ones love rain boots for some reason!
If you could give advice to your 13 year old self, what would you say?
When feeling angry or hurt about something, take a step back and ask yourself if whatever made you angry or feel hurt will matter a year, a month, or even a week from then.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you:
I am a very good cook and try to make a different, creative meal every week night.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Go to Europe, learn to surf, Run a 5k.
What are you most proud of?
My father. He fought for our country and continued to fight for our past, present, and future military veterans. He donated a lot of time and money to any cause he could find that would support the men and women that have fought and those who are currently fighting for our country.
